Beauty Salon is now an Open Social application (2nd after Photoshop Learning Center) available now on several social networks and combines Yahoo! Pipes, youtube API, Google Gadget API, Open Social, Adobe Spry, JSON, etc.
The 'Beauty Salon' is a place to learn new tricks about hairstyling, makeup, nail polishing and a lot more stuff. This small application tries to cover the most activities from a real beauty salon and you will discover that you can enjoy new makeup photos made by usual people and lots of videos made by professionals from all the areas of a real beauty salon. Even more, you can find the 'Beauty Lounge', a place to meet new people, share ideas, inform about new beauty products and make friends or read news from MSNBC. If you are just interested in having fun, you can go to the fun area where you can play a game related to beauty.

Emotional Deviations

This is one of my first widgets using Adobe's Spry framework. I had to chose between jquery,mootools, YUI and other few frameworks, but I think that Spry fits my needs. Here it is. And one ore thing: I've discovered that JSON rulz.
As for the content... I've always liked these dramatic images.

Photoshop Learning Center

Photoshop Learning Center is my first app to use Open Social features like Google Connect and is by far the most ambitious project at this moment for me. It combines data, services and informations from over 40 sources and makes use very intensively of several API's. Also is my first widget which integrates the new Google canvas feature.

Small updates, big impact

I've started to move widgets to a new level. I've changed 'The Insider - Pulse' from kickapps flash environment to JSON and javascript. This is a faster way to display content and is also cross domain. Still, the flash based widgets are prettier. There are no new widgets at the moment as I've learned JS and developed the biggest widget/app/gadget so far.
